1.1 Interpretation. Terms with capitalised initial letters have specific meanings defined below. Definitions apply equally whether used in singular or plural form.
1.2 Definitions. "Account" means a unique account created for accessing the Service. "Renter" means users placing Orders for temporary use of Goods from a Lender. "Lender" means users listing Goods for temporary use by Renters. "Country" means Singapore. "Company/Operator" means Lendit, located at 22 Sin Ming Lane #06-76 Midview City Singapore, 573969, 202409510R. "Content" means text, images, or information posted by users. "Good" means items or services offered for sale, rental, auction, or trading. "Order" means a request to purchase or trade Goods on the Service. "Service" means this Application or Website or both. "You" means the individual or legal entity accessing or using the Service.

These Terms govern the relationship between users and the Company/Operator. Access and use of the Service depend on acceptance and compliance with these Terms. By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Users must be over the age of majority in their country or Singapore, whichever is higher. Use of the Service is also conditioned on acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
Singapore law governs these Terms and Service use, excluding conflict of law rules. Other local, state, national, or international laws may also apply. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to accomplish its objectives under applicable law, with remaining provisions continuing in full force. Failure to exercise a right does not prevent future enforcement.
Account information must be accurate, complete, and current. Failure to maintain accuracy breaches these Terms and may result in immediate account termination. Usernames cannot be another person’s name or entity name, legally unavailable, subject to third-party rights without authorisation, or offensive/vulgar/obscene.
Users are responsible for protecting their password and any activities under it. Users must immediately notify the Company of security breaches or unauthorised access.
The Company may terminate or suspend accounts immediately without notice for any reason, including Terms violations. Users can terminate their accounts by discontinuing use, deleting their account, or contacting the Company.
Users are responsible for posted Content, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. By posting Content, users grant the Company rights to use, modify, perform, display, reproduce, and distribute such Content. Users retain ownership rights but agree the Company may make Content available to other users.
Users may not transmit unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, or objectionable Content. The Company reserves the right to determine Content appropriateness, refuse or remove Content, make edits, limit Service use, or revoke access.
The Company respects intellectual property and copyrights. To report infringing material, send a notice via our contact form identifying the work, the location of the infringing material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury.
The Service acts as a facilitator between Renters and Lenders. The Company is not a party to user-Lender agreements, which are separate from the user-Company agreement.
Goods may be mispriced, inaccurately described, or unavailable. The Company and Lenders cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness of information, prices, images, specifications, or services. The Company reserves the right to change or correct information any time without notice and to revise prices before accepting Orders.
Service fees (rentals). The Company charges fees (plus applicable taxes) for facilitating rental transactions. Fee details and calculations appear during Orders. Lendit charges a Lender commission deducted from rental income and a Renter fee added on top of the rental price. All commissions and fees are itemised in transaction billing.
Sales of Goods. For sales of Goods (as distinct from rentals), the Company does not process payment and charges no fees. Buyers and Sellers arrange payment directly between themselves (typically via PayNow) and meet to exchange the Goods. The Company facilitates introductions through its messaging features but is not party to the sale transaction and bears no responsibility for payment, delivery, condition, or warranty of Goods sold.
Order cancellation. If a Renter cancels a confirmed Order, the Renter cancellation fee applies. If a Lender cancels a confirmed Order, the renter is refunded in full and the Lender cancellation fee applies. The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel Orders for Goods availability, description errors, suspected fraud, or illegal transactions.
Return date and charges. Items returned after the Return Date incur charges up to two times the rental for each additional day over the Return Date. Both parties accept Lendit’s item value estimations in disputes.
Estimated value. As a Renter, you represent you will be able to pay the rental and have funds to pay for lost or damaged items. Lendit may require deposits up to the estimated item value and can deduct this amount for damage or failure to return items by the Return Date.
The Company’s total liability is limited to amounts actually paid through the Service or 100 USD for non-purchasing users. The Company is not liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, personal injury, or loss of privacy.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects, without warranties. The Company expressly disclaims all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Users agree to attempt informal dispute resolution by contacting the Company before pursuing other remedies.
The Service and original content (excluding user Content), features, and functionality are exclusive Company property. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Company trademarks and trade dress cannot be used without prior written consent.
Users assign all rights, title, and interest in provided Feedback to the Company, or otherwise grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, reproduce, disclose, distribute, modify, and exploit Feedback without restriction.
The Company reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material revisions receive at least 30 days’ notice. Continued Service use after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance.
