How our fees work
Added on top of the listing price. This covers platform costs, secure payments, and customer support.
Deducted from your payout. In return, we handle payments, messaging, booking management and support.
When a buyer’s interested, you arrange payment directly via PayNow. Lendit doesn’t take a cut and doesn’t touch the money.

About Stripe payment processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, the world's leading payment platform. Stripe charges 3.4% + S$0.50 per transaction for Singapore cards (3.9% + S$0.50 for international cards).
These Stripe fees are separate from Lendit's platform fees and are deducted before your payout. The "Lender receives" figures above are estimates after Stripe fees.
Common questions
When do I get paid as a lender?
Once a booking is completed, funds are released to your Stripe account within 2–3 business days. You can then transfer to your bank account (including Wise) directly from Stripe.
Is listing really free?
Yes — listing any item is completely free. You only pay the platform commission (10%) when a booking is made and completed.
What if I want to sell an item?
Selling is free. There's no commission and no processing fee. When someone wants to buy your item, message each other on Lendit to agree on payment via PayNow and meet-up. Lendit doesn't handle sale payments.
Can I list an item for both rent and sale?
Yes! You can set both a daily rental price and a sale price. Once someone buys the item, it's automatically removed from rental availability.
Is there a security deposit?
Security deposits are optional and set by the lender. If you collect a deposit, it is held securely and returned to the renter after the item is returned in good condition.
